For the last decade, packing my bite guard was always a bummer. It’s so bulky! I tried fitting it in other containers to make it more streamlined, but nothing worked.
This year as I was preparing for an trip I thought, “what if I fit all my teeth hygiene items INTO the bite guard case?” It was a eureka moment for me and I wanted to spread the word. Here is my “teeth kit”– and how I optimize packing it.
Teeth kit:
- Ultralight mini toothbrush (you could also use a regular toothbrush and saw off the handle)
- 2x flosser picks (I hand wash them between uses)
- 1x mini toothpaste tube (or vial of toothpaste tabs)
- 1x bite guard (got mine from my dentist)
The bonus is the case already has vents so that everything can dry out while being stored in the case!

That’s it! I hope this serves as inspiration to find space saving solutions with what you already have. Remember, less is more!
