AKA my “Lumbarino”
I loved hiking in my lightest pack yet!
This was technically not a Camino de Santiago. It was a local thru-hike called “Camino de los Faros” that follows the coast line in Galicia. There were days with no services, and some extremely long days that had us walking twelve hours. Knowing the limitations of the trail I was still able to successfully carry everything I needed in my lumbar pack.

Okay, onto the list!

eSIM

I use Airalo when I travel abroad or do a Camino because it’s easy, works well, and the price is right. This is a data only eSIM. Through experience I’ve learned that I only need a data plan, and that it’s much cheaper than upgrading my domestic cellphone plan. Use referral code GWACO8480 to receive $3.00 off your next eSIM with Airalo!
I loved walking with my 6L lumbar bag!
It fit everything I needed, and had room for snacks and incidentals.
I hope this inspired you to Lumbar-ino your way to Santiago, or on your next hike.
